We officially have less than 5 weeks away until baby gets here. We should be set for a November 11th arrival via c-section. To be honest we have done nothing to prepare for his nursery and now we need to step it up. I've gotten a sudden urge to "nest"-decorate, clean, paint, etc. Ok maybe not paint myself but I've came up with the baby's room inspiration. I didn't want to do a theme this time since I did one with Gabriella and was sick of it by the time she got here. I decided on just a "vintage" theme (without a theme) if that makes any sense. Pretty much a collection of vintage pieces using reds, browns, tans, black and some blue. I have a vision of somehting very masculine. Anyway I got my inspiration from this piece of art below:
I love all the dark boyish colors and figure this could grow with him. Along with this here are a few other pieces that I've put together for his room. Hubby should start painting the room-(G's old room) this weekend. By the way we've ordered Gabriella's big girl bed from pottery barn kids and its beautiful. I can't wait for it to get here. We are doing a shabby-chic theme for her room. So we not only have one room but 2 to decorate. I'm loving it!
Nothing says vintage more than a Radio Flyer wagon. This is a mini version used just for decor and the monkey sock is also a must. I love the PB Kids bedding with the reds and browns and a classic vintage airplane. The "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" sign is a classic. I am having a lot of fun planning for my little boy's nursery!
