So here we are at 34 weeks along...its getting closer and closer until we meet our little one! With that said we still have a lot to do. I've made a list of things for Nunie to do before baby arrives, like paint the doors and trimmings of our house, clean our backyard, etc. I've been cleaning all the closets, throwing stuff away, and even had a garage sale this past weekend with Mom. I guess you can say the nesting has continued.
We had a Dr's appointment this past week and also a growth scan. Our baby girl is growing like she should and everything looks great. She's not measuring as big as my fundal height indicated. She's estimated to weight about 5lbs 4oz and that puts her in the 70th percentile, so a little big but nothing to worry about. However, she's breech and that has me worried as I do not even want to think about a c-section. My plans were to go as natural as possible. I guess some things you just cannot determine. I'm just praying that she turns..and I'm continuing the exercises my doctor recommended.
We've signed up for birthing classes and we will start them next Sunday. We will also be taking a breastfeeding class at my hospital and I will attend La Leche League Meetings coming up as well. I'm trying to do everything before school starts again!
Baby's room is about 90 percent complete, I will post pictures as soon as everything is ready. I have not started to wash anything yet, but I will do that right before I go back to work. I want things to be fresh for her:P We've started a new routine for Dora and Logan-they are now sleeping in the home office. Our room is just too crowded with us and two great danes on the floor. There have been several times I almost tripped over them while getting up for one of my many restroom trips. So last night was the first night in three years they didn't sleep with us and they did great (I think Nunie was more sad then they were, lol)!
Oh and one last thing. I officially got to experience "Sausage Feet Syndrome" on Saturday. I'd been outside and on my feet all day during the garage sale we had. In the evening we were going to dinner at la Strada for Jill's birthday and my feet did not fit into any of my shoes, it was pretty hilarious and a little painful. I drank plenty of fluids and propped my feet up-no more sausage feet for now:)
